Dear Salesian Family,
It is an honor to serve
as principal of Bishop Mora Salesian High School.
”Only
as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go,
only as deep as I look can I see, only as much as I dream can I
be.”
Karen

That our students believe in themselves
enough to reach, seek, look and dream is our aim. Our school is
dedicated to improving student academic achievement and to
creating a culture of respect and dignity for every member of
the school community. We have exceedingly high expectations for
students and staff alike, and we hope that you will join us on
this journey. It is a journey in pursuit of excellence, one
that requires sacrifice and hard work. A strong partnership
with parents will be a critical element for success. Our
students and this community will be the beneficiaries when our
goal is achieved.
Salesian
is a school rich in a tradition. Throughout its nearly fifty
years of service to the community, Salesian has consistently met
and exceeded the educational needs of its students. Our greatest
assets in furthering this legacy have been our students and
educators whose commitment and dedication to Salesian is evident
daily in the value they together add to this rich
heritage.
As your
principal, I assure you that our school will continue to avail
all the resources needed to further the cause for even greater
student achievement. Offering our students the latest in
curriculum enhancements in a safe learning environment will
continue to serve as our primary focus.
It is in
the spirit of meeting this challenge, that I invite all of you
to partner with our students, teachers, coaches, and
administrators in helping to pave the path to what I believe are
the endless new horizons of greater student achievement.
I ask your assistance in supporting your
son's education by encouraging them, and keeping them focused on
performing to their very best ability. Please stay in contact
with teachers about your son's progress in an effort to affirm
success or in working together in setting new goals of
achievement. Student success is achieved when responsibility is
accepted with integrity and purpose. If we all work together and
communicate effectively, our individual and school goals will be
attained.
Thank you
to so many of you who have had a hand in making the start of
this school year a success. I look forward to seeing all of you
at our school functions throughout the year, may continue to
bless you.
Your
Principal
Samuel
