The Mustangs; Varsity &
J.V. teams both brought a victory home to Boyle Heights as they
defeated their 1st League opponent Bell-Jeff @ Burroughs H.S
Saturday Night. The Final Scores were J.V.- 28-0
& Varsity 44-21
The
Mustangs Once Again Both J.V. and Varsity brought home another Santa
Fe League Victory Saturday Night Against St. Genevieve. The Final
Scores Were J.V.- 33-22 & Varsity 21-0
The Mustangs Junior
Varsity Won Their League Championship on Friday as they defeated
Daniel Murphy 28-14. The Varsity also won as they rang the victory
bell on their HOMECOMING night by defeating Daniel Murphy 35-0. The
Varsity is 3-0 in league.
The Mustangs defeated
St. Anthony 34-0 in which the Mustangs were given the title of the
Santa Fe League Champs of 06'. The Mustangs went undefeated in
league and will be placed very high in the playoffs. The Mustangs
accomplished one of the 2 goals that were set this year and that was
to become BACK 2 BACK CHAMPS!!!!
The Mustangs Defeated
Fairmount Prep Friday Night With A Score of 26-19 which advanced the
mustangs to the 2nd round in playoffs also known as the
quarterfinals. The Mustangs have not reached the 2nd round of
playoffs in 16 years. This years team may not be very big in size
but they are very BIG in Heart and they trust in each other as
teammates and in the great coaching staff.
The Mustangs fall to
Maranatha in the second round playoff game, so the mustangs season
ends but the Mustangs kept their head up high because of what they
have accomplished this season and the history they have made and
they also have proved to everyone that
THE PRIDE IS BACK!!!!
