*Back to School Night continues TONIGHT at 6:30pm for Junior and Senior parents. Parents who don’t attend will be charged $25.

*We are following a rally schedule this tomorrow. No Flex period. Classes start at 8am, with dismissal at the regular time of 2:25. (See Below for schedule)

*Friday the football team open up their 2014 campaign against Pasadena Muir high school. JV kick off is at 4pm, varsity at 7pm


*Campus Ministry meeting TODAY during lunch in the chapel.


*All those interested in going to Japan or Peru. There will be an important meeting during lunch tomorrowFriday in the Student Center. Spaces are limited.

*See. Mrs. Larios if you still have not taken your ID. It will cost you $5 to replace an ID.

*Students must secure required textbooks by Tuesday, September 2nd.  Remember to write your name on the inside cover of your textbook and at the bottom of another random page.  Beginning on Tuesday, September 2nd, you may be sent to lockout in the student center for failure to have required course materials.

*Purchase a school agenda for $6 in the finance office.

* Attention all students interested in participating in Salesian's Fall theater production: 'An Evening of Interesting One-Acts' - there will be an informational meeting today, Thursday, after school in Room 305. There will be an audition workshop next week on Tuesday, September 2nd and Auditions will be held Thursday, September 4th. See Mr. DeFour for details."

Counseling Department

SENIORS:  Online portals are now open for all University of California campuses and for over 500 private universities/colleges who use the "Common Application" for college admissions.  Please stop by the Counseling Office for more information.    


SENIORS/JUNIORS:  The deadline to register for the October 11th SAT is September 12th.  Please access website:, or see Mr. Chavez in the Counseling Center.  

Music Department

All students interested in joining the Salesian Mariachi or Drum line need to see Mr. Mata for more information. No experience required for new students interested in joining.
